Almond Bars

Ingredients
Bars:
- 1 cup Butter Melted and Cooled
- 2 cup Sugar
- 4 Eggs Beaten
- 2 cup Flour
- 2 tsp Almond Extract
- 1 dash Salt
Frosting:
- 3 oz Cream Cheese Soft
- 6 tbsp Butter Soft
- 1 tsp Almond Extract
- 1 tsp Milk
- 2-1/2 cup Powdered Sugar
Instructions
Bars:
- Mix butter, sugar and eggs together until creamy.
- Add flour, almond, and salt.
- Mix until smooth.
- Spread into well-greased 9x13-inch cake pan. (If you want the bars to be thinner and more of them, it can be done in a jellyroll pan.)
- Bake for 25 minutes or until done.
Frosting:
- Beat all ingredients together until smooth.
- If stiff, add small amounts of milk until easy to spread.
- Spread on cooled bars.
