Part-Time Sales Representative
Western Products is seeking a part-time, results-driven Full-Commission Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. We are a leading provider of high-quality window treatments and outdoor furniture, proudly offering Hunter Douglas blinds—synonymous with innovation, design, and craftsmanship—and Homecrest Outdoor Living furniture, renowned for its comfort, style, and durability.
Position Summary
As a part-time, Full-Commission Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating and closing sales of Hunter Douglas blinds and Homecrest Outdoor Living furniture. You will build strong relationships with residential and commercial clients, offering them tailored solutions that elevate their interiors and outdoor spaces. Success in this role requires excellent product knowledge, exceptional customer service skills, and a passion for design.

Key Responsibilities
- Sales & Business Development
- Identify, prospect, and qualify potential leads through networking, cold calling, referrals, and other creative methods.
- Conduct in-home or on-site consultations to understand customer needs, preferences, and budgets.
- Present product features, benefits, and customization options for both Hunter Douglas blinds and Homecrest Outdoor Living furniture.
- Negotiate and close sales, meeting or exceeding monthly and quarterly targets.
- Customer Relationship Management
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries, provide quotes, and follow up on outstanding proposals.
- Offer post-sale support, including coordinating installation services, ensuring timely deliveries, and addressing any product issues.
- Product Expertise & Consultation
- Stay up to date on the latest product offerings, design trends, and industry developments.
- Provide customers with expert advice on product selection, including style, materials, functionality, and maintenance.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure product availability and timely order fulfillment.
- Administrative & Reporting
- Maintain accurate sales records, including pipeline updates, forecasts, and customer data in CRM software.
- Prepare regular sales reports for management review.
- Adhere to all company policies, pricing guidelines, and operational procedures.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education & Experience
- Proven track record in sales—experience in window treatments, furniture, or related industries is highly desirable.
- Core Competencies
- Strong consultative sales skills and a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to manage the full sales cycle—from prospecting and building rapport to closing deals.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working under a commission-based compensation structure.
- Technical & Design Aptitude
- Basic understanding of interior design principles and outdoor space planning.
- Proficiency with measuring and assessing space dimensions for window treatments and furniture placement is a plus.
- Familiarity with CRM software and standard office programs (e.g., Microsoft Office).
- Other Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for in-person consultations and client visits.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends or evenings, to accommodate client schedules.
