- String beans Raw, Washed
- 1/2 tsp Ground Red Pepper
- 1-2 Crushed Garlic Cloves
- Large Head Dill
- Carrots (Optional)
- Vinegar
- Water
- Canning Salt
Instructions
- Pack raw, washed string beans in jar. For each pint add: 1/2 tsp. ground red pepper, 1-2 crushed garlic cloves, large head dill (carrots may be added). Bring equal parts vinegar and water plus 1 tbsp. canning salt per cup of liquid, to boil - add to jars - tighten lids. Process 10 minutes in hot water bath
